As an advocate we work closely with the parent and education administration to provide information, guidance and support to encourage decisions that meet the needs of the student. Organize and work closely with school administration to determine student education, strengths, interest and progress. Communicate with parents to ensure a seamless understanding of the student educational requirements and academic risks (e.g. curriculum, testing, projects, scores, projected promotion, etc.) . Meet regularly with parent and administration to address student progress, issues, and future needs/directions. Parent to parent mentoring.Connecting with parent support groups. Sharing resources available in the community.
